Originally from Southern California, Glenn Bach now lives in the Doan Brook watershed of Cleveland, Ohio. He retired from a career in sound art and experimental music to focus exclusively on Atlas, a long poem about place and our (mis)understanding of the world. Excerpts have appeared in jubilatOtolithsPlumwood Mountain and others. Glenn documents his work at glennbach.com and @AtlasCorpus.

ABOUT

Glenn Bach’s cricket (eclipse) is the first published manuscript from his Atlas project, a long poem in progress since 2003. In this short sequence, Bach examines the natural and built environments in a concerted effort to understand place, but filtered through mediated texts told slant, a collage of oblique impressionism.
