Riverend Artist Series
Dear writer/ artist/ photographer/ poet/ creative of the Quad Cities welcome to the Riverend Series.

Here is our chance to explore our world together.
We invite you to submit one original chapbook to be our inaugural Riverend Artist.
Stone Corpse Press publishes chapbooks of poetry, micro fiction, creative nonfiction as well as chapbooks of original art and photography. We like work that blurs the lines of genre and finds new ways to play with the chapbook form.
Guidelines
. This series is only open to residents of the Quad Cities. *
. Submissions are open May 1, 2025 through July 17, 2025.
. Responses will be sent through the month of July no later than August 1, 2025.
. Submit one manuscript no more than 30 pages.
. Title and credits pages do not affect total page count.
. We consider all types of work, however, please be mindful of our aesthetic.
. Submit .docx or PDF files to Riverend.scp@gmail.com
. Include a brief bio and cover letter if you’d like.

Details
. Winner receives $300 dollar travel stipend to use however the winner would like and will be awarded a publication contract.
. Winners/ Finalists will be selected by August 1, 2025.
. Selected chapbook will be published on/ before September 30, 2025.
. Following publication, a release reading will be held at a local venue (date TBA).
. *Writers must currently reside in Scott, Muscatine or Clinton counties in Iowa. Henry, Mercer or Rock Island counties in Illinois.
. This project is supported by Quad City Arts, through the Arts Dollars re-granting program, supported by The Illinois Arts Council Agency, a state agency, The Hubbell-Waterman Foundation, and the Quad Cities Community Foundation – Isabel Bloom Art Education Endowment.
