Stone Corpse Press publishes poetry & small fictions. We like experimental, visual, concrete & asemic poetry & surreal small fictions. We like anything that pushes boundaries & is explorative in nature. We encourage collaborative acts of destruction & startling uses of brevity.

We look to many for guidance and inspiration, here are just a few:

You can read a little more about the press and our journey on the above / ground press blog.
At Stone Corpse we’re focused on sustainability not profitability. This means that we don’t need hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant money to publish one project. It also means we depend on the network of artists and writers to spread the word as opposed to a distribution network of large booksellers. We also have to think a little differently about how we approach publication and utilize many different outlets to support our mission of getting weird art into the world.
We’re more interested in sustaining artists & artwork and sustaining the craft of handmade books than we are in market domination. While we want to support our authors as much as possible Stone Corpse is capable of running on fine margins. Consider a donation to help our project and to see us grow into what we’re capable of doing, after all we’re doing this together.
